Empowering SDN-Docker Based Architecture for Internet of Things Heterogeneity

Internet of Things (IoT), an emerging technology, connects billions smart devices to the through heterogeneous communication technologies enabling novel services and applications. This complex variable environment encounters several challenges such as managing controlling network IoT applications, programming devices, responding some specific Quality Service requirements certain The current based on complex, static, closed traditional architecture represents a serious concern, especially with amounts data generated from huge devices. In this paper, we present new model for that brings together benefits Software Defined Networking (SDN) containerization (i.e., Docker) address most abstract underlying hardware subsystem. SDN concept decoupled control plane which implies centralized global view provides flexibility in configuration resource management. Moreover, technique docker device portability scalability First, propose, SDN-based IoT. Then, lightweight virtualization supplied by Docker, empower functionalities effectiveness solution challenge heterogeneity. Furthermore, use supermarket case validate our SDN-Docker real scenario. experimental results implementation.
